(Okay so I thought I would give you guys a sample of what it was like for everyones' favorite wall like red nation to grow up and discover his sexuality.)
Red was laying there boredly, he was half way listening to Samuel depressively ramble on about missing Johnathan. He couldn't relate to his Russian friend's pain but he would pretend to anyway. "Yea..... know...." He said nodded, looking down into a porno magazine with much interest and the thought of jacking off in lingering ideas. "Wow these ladies have some nice tit's man...." He didn't have any sign on his face of aw or amazement, he was just there living, looking over to Samuel he grinned crookedly. "Oh.....Heh...I was listening....I was...." He gave a small pathetic chuckle and used one hand to rub or well scratch at the back of his head.
Samuel let out an annoyed sigh, and fell back, laying down on the bed. "NNurghag!, no your not....I'm just going to.....shut up now." He looked up at the ceiling, enjoying his friend's company, even if he wasn't listening. He laid like that for a little while, then sat up and joined his friend in the magazine. "mnn, thats the only thing they have going for them, they're enormous boobs." He let out a sigh, turning the page. "...she's creepy." He was defiantly out of the halfway there state, woman just didn't interest him any more. Ever since Red's sister had been staying there, every time he spoke with his mother, she urged him to get to know her a little better and then he might have a nice girl instead of some tramp but he always just moaned and said he'd had too many girls then and needed a break. He was thankful she never asked to meet any of them, but who knows how long that would last. "Johnathan is way cuter than any of these whores anyway." He mumbled, looking away from the magazine. Marie knocked on the door before coming in and announcing that dinner was ready. "....Red, what are you reading?" She asked, curiously as she walked towards him.
Red looked up at Samuel then back down at the magazine "Her? You're shitting me, she's hot and I'd lay her in a heart beat...." Sadly he would too, hell if he got the chance he'd do any of them to all of them and at the same time if that was possible. "Ah, whatever.....You're off the deepened anyway." He flipped back just to fill his mind with dirty thoughts. Oh god, he would have gone with a hand into his pants then and there if Samuel had not been hovering around and the fact that he didn't want to have to change clothes in the least bit. Hearing the knock the Spaniard looked up annoyed with a cocked brow and a frown to boot. "Ngh..." He said when he heard his sister speak but the idea of dinner being ready was too good to pass up. "Fine...I'm coming, eh Samuel?" He asked looking back to his friend that was direly missing his lover and Red was cool with him being queer, he didn't care really. So why be bothered if you honestly aren't offended. "Reading....? I don't read." He sneered looking back to her with a snap of the head and a glare. "But if you insist on knowing what's in here....Then fine, take a look see..." He instantly flipped the magazine around and flashed the nude pictures of two different females at her. "It's what I'm looking at." He declared with a winning yet mocking grin.
She hit him with the wooden spoon she had carried in with her, pushing the magazine out of her face and grabbing it from him. "Ugh, You're just a pig Red, here I'll show you what I think of your readings." She turned on her heel, andhastily walked into the kitchen, taking Turrent's lighter he was using to light a smoke and drowned the magazine in flames, letting them slowly engulf the pages. Samuel had followed them out, still misrable, but not sad enough to go hungry. Turrent didn't question her actions, but he gave her a dull, 'you didn't' look through his purple round sunglasses, the cigarette still hanging in his mouth.
Red stormed after his sister with a glare, clentched fists and rage. "The hell is wrong with you Maria?!" He growled snatching the magazine and stomping out what he could to save the rest. He sighed and looked to Turrent. "The fuck is wrong with you, ya couldn't even hold onto your lighter." He whipped his head back around to face her again. "I'm NOT a pig and what the hell is for dinner." He was just sort of angry but yelling came with him by nature anyway. He huffed and took a stance leaning more so on one foot than the other with his arms crossed and a snarl to match. "I don't know what you had to go and to that for anyway.....it wasn't hurting no one..." He lost his stance and bent down to pick up the remains of the smoldered and burned magazine only to try and flip through it before tossing it away.
Maria huffed at her brother and went back to setting the table. Ever since she came, they had family dinners, which Samuel didn't mind, it gave him time to chat with his brother. Turrent was in a rather good mood, so he didn't snap back at Red, instead he walked over to him and pulled something out of his pocket, slipping it into Red's and whispering in his ear. "hey, your sis might be annoying to ya, but she can cook like hell so how's about you lay off on the arguin' so we don't loose our cook and you can ahve more of those. The Cuban cigar, which lay rest in Red's pocket, was wrapped clean, no tears, and the smell seep through the package, admitting a sweet smoky smell, when inhaled. No doubt it was hard to come by and getting it for free was better than free food any day. Samuel sat down at the table next to his brother and scooted closer, leaning his ear into Kevin's phone conversation, hoping to hear the other half.
Red made an odd quirk of a face as he felt what it was knowing without sight and sighed giving in to defeat this time. "Fine, you win this once...." The Spanish male said taking his seat next to Turrent.
Kevin hadn't been having as good of a day at the job, he was now missing one canine tooth and had a nasty gash on his side that was still in the process of hurting like a son of a bitch. Not to mention that he was still working his was out of a drunken stupor from the surgery. He was leaning back, hand over his face, eyes still closed trying to hide from any light. "Yes' 'ir...." He whistled out with a groaning tone.
Samuel frowned a concerned look towards his brother and put a hand on his knee. It wasn't that he didn't like his brother's job, he just wished that it was a little easier on him. "Wanna go lay down on the couch?" He asked in a low tone, wishing the pain in his brother would die, he never liked seeing him like this. "Kevin?" His voice was small, much like the tone he used to get when he'd get in trouble and hide behind his brother, even if it didn't work, Kevin always made him feel safer. Turrent was also aware of Kevin's pain. He was lucky to come back with a black eye and a bruised ass but that was about it. It was the only one who would ignore a bruised ass and laugh if he ever got shot there. Maria came out with the sloppy Joe meat, the hamburger rolls and some sort of green veggie.
Red looked at Samuel, eyeing Kevin over a flash of concern before he got up and offered to help her knowing where his loyalty was, it was to them but he wasn't a healer of any sort.
Kevin just groaned again into the phone. "I'know sir...." He looked through fingers and squinted eyes at Samuel and gave a sloppy grin, showing his lost tooth. Whispered something along the lines of it's okay brother, don't worry. "Really.....I'll be fine sitting, moving worries me most...." He gave a slight chuckle or well cough followed by the gritting of his teeth and a wince. "N...No sir. I wasn't laughing......I....I gotta go sir, dinner's ready...." He sighed and listened more to the trouble he was in followed by his sir's concern then hung up after saying bye.
Kevin didn't buy his brother's painful grin for one second, his eyes still fixed on him, the look of pleading worry in his face, the face he used to make when he wanted a hug. He didn't know what he'd do if anything ever happened to Kevin, he would surely die. They ate dinner, in a quiet manner, until Turrent started to talk about the bruise on his ass, hoping to lighten the mood.
"And, it's all black and purple, and then it looks kind of green. It's really gross and it hurts like a bitch but, .."He took another huge bite of his second sandwich, still talking. "...it's huge, it covers like, half my left butt-cheek."
Red quirked a brow listening to Turrent. "Well then...that's kinda interesting.....I guess......" Kevin cleared his throat. "Turr, no one want to try and eat while hearing about your butt bruise.....Is it gonna be okay?" He asked concerned with one arm around Samuel trying to comfort his younger brother into not worrying anymore about him. He knew he's be okay if he took care of it properly and didn't rip his numerous stitches out.
Turrent just continued eating, complaining about not being able to talk about it. Samuel nibbled at his food but he missed Johnathan so much and now Kevin was hurt and he just wished thigs were like they used to be, with everyone there and happy. He wondered if Johnathan was safe and warm where he was, happy and enjoying a good time, while still missing him. Maria just laughed and ate her one, taking her time and enjoying Turrent's strange stories. The phone rang again and
Samuel grbbed it before Kevin could even reach out, answering it. "No, he is but we're eating, yeah he has a lot of work, kay, tomorrow is fine." With that he hung up and went back to eating. "Chealsi wants you to call her tomorrow sometime." he murmured to Kevin, not particuarlly fond of Kevin's girlfriend but she was okay.
Kevin just groaned at the thought of telling her anything about it, she had the tendency to over reacting with the simplest of things like a scrap or paper cut, he'd hate to see this one, maybe he'd get away from her screeching voice and she'd faint. Oh god what a horrible thought but oh well he didn't care. Kevin only ate half on one sandwhich because between the pain and the slight headach he wasn't hungry.
Red sat there trying to encourage more stories from Turrent already haven eatten three sandwhiches thinking he was done for the moment, he had to eat some of the green veggies too because he would be in trouble if he didn't and it was known. "Come on, one more man, one more..." He tempted.
Turrent ate another sandwich, making sure there were no left overs for Maria to put away, even though one of these would make a good breakfast. He glance at Red and grinned, taking a big bite and continueing his story to Red and any one else that wished to hear it. Dinner went by moderately fast and before they knew it, the clock was past one and the sound of Turrent soft yet, audible snores filled the silent house. Samuel stared up at the ceiling, missing Johnathan more and more, worrying about Kevin, the sleepless night dragging on since eleven.
Kevin was out, but he would wake up, take a swig of some strong vodka and try going back to sleep when he couldn't feel his side's pain anymore.
Red sat with Samuel, god only knew how long he had been pretending to sleep but he didn't hand hadn't budged since they laid down. "Samuel, it's gonna be okay. You're not alone...." He said rolling over and sitting up looking down at him.
"I know" he replied calmly in a half whisper, as if his voice might echo throughout the empty halls of their small apartment. "...its just that, I got so used to him being here, and sleeping with me, hugging me and keeping me warm...." He looked up at Red, eyes pleading to stay dry, then he looked past him, at the ceiling again, feeling his eyes dampen and fill with tears. He swallowed the lump in his throat, trying to keep his long gone cool. "...and he'd kiss me g'night, and g'morning, and g'bye, and hello, and sometimes for no reason at all." he managed a small, weak laugh and sniffled, whiping a tear away
